So only 10% of owners go off-road, so what?

With the introduction of the new Wrangler with it’s “Soft Roader” looks it was essential that Jeep retained its “go anywhere” credentials. This interactive CD-ROM takes anyone thinking of going off tarmac through the basics of good off-roading techniques. Using only Jeep products it was an opportunity to reinforce Jeeps position as the Off-Roader’s off-roader.

The CD-ROM takes the user through all the necessary stages to have a successful and enjoyable excursion off-road. It details the seven golden rules of off-roading with particular emphasis on the safety aspects.

Filmed at Jeep's purpose built off-road facility in Yorkshire, the CD-ROM explains in detail how to negotiate muddy slopes, deep water, fast flowing streams, rocks and even fallen trees.

There are animations which help explain how the four-wheel drive systems work and especially Jeep innovations such QuadraTrac and CommandTrac.

There are even print facilities so that the user can copy a checklist to help prepare for the activity.
