FOR SOLUTIONS ABOVE AND BEYOND
We believe that central to the design of effective learning is ensuring that the content is interactive, usable and relevant. Obviously, there’s a bit more to it than that but those are our basic principles.
We could talk to you about the pedagogical theorists and about the essential ingredients to successful e-learning - but even though these things need to be considered and, where appropriate, certain rules will need to be adopted - we decide not to.
We briefly describe below the process we go through when creating an e-learning programme.
We start with your brief. We find out exactly what you want your learning programme to be. Then we put that knowledge together with our solution into a Scoping document.
The scoping document details what content will be in the programme and how that will be broken down. How the content will be shown i.e. style of the programme, visuals to be used, including type of exercises used. Finally, it will explain why we suggest doing it that way.
Once we've got agreement on the Scoping document we would begin with the actual learning design or what we call storyboarding. The storyboards include content, graphics suggestions, voiceover script and basically any instruction to the programmers / developers. They are easy to follow and tell you everything that will be happening on each screen of your learning programme. Each storyboard would need sign off from you before we go ahead with development.
After sign off of each storyboard then development can take place. This is where our programmers, developers and graphic designers can commence with putting the learning programme together. Using their combination of technical and creative expertise they produce an excellent product every time.
